The production base is located at Shanghai Huajing Industry Area (Shanghai Nanometer Industrialization Base).
Rebone company is mainly dealing with calcium phosphate cement (CPC)-a kind of novel material for bone defect repair and dental root canal filling, which is a scientific fruit of 8 years’ hard efforts and funded by National Hi-tech Developing Program (863 plan). Characterized with easily shaping and handling, excellent biocompatibility and osteoconductivity, and suitable biodegradability, this ideal novel bone substitute can be applied extensively into such many fields as orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and dentistry, etc. The performance of CPC has reached the international advanced level and achieved China Patent Certification. The company commits itself to further development of new products and is planning to promote the new generations products.
The CPC products have passed the certifications from Shanghai Science and Technology Committee and Ministry of Education of China, which shows the technology of our products is at the same level as that overseas at the end of 1990s. The products obtained the production approval from State Drug Administration at Dec. 2000, which is the first license among the similar products. It was also certificated as a hi-tech fruit by Shanghai government. The company achieved self-operating authority of imports and exports.
It has won the first prize of 98’ Shanghai Excellent Invention Competition, the gold prize of 12th National Invention Fair and 98’ World Chinese Invention Fair, the second prize of 2000 Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and the title of Novel Product of China.
Up to now, Rebone has distributed its product to over 30 provinces in China, and has established Beijing service center for north China, Xi’an center for northwest and Shanghai for east China, ect.
